Desert Sky Montessori (DSM), a high-quality tuition-free Montessori program in beautiful Bend, Oregon, invites you to be a part of an exciting Montessori charter school in its 7th year. DSM currently has 7 classrooms ranging from Kindergarten through 6th grade.
Each classroom has a Lead Guide and full-time assistant. DSM is located in the beautiful Central Oregon community of Bend. The sponsoring Bend-La Pine School District and the Bend community are very supportive of the school. DSM received an amazing Implementation Grant of $450,000 from the Oregon Department of Education for our start up years, and the classrooms are complete with beautiful Montessori materials and furnishings.
The successful candidate will preferably have a Montessori teaching certification and teaching experience. Salary is commensurate with credentials and experience. The compensation package includes professional development opportunities, medical insurance, paid days off, and the Oregon PERS retirement fund.
